Europa has appointed Gemma Skeath from Goldman Sachs International as managing director, head of legal and compliance.
Skeath spent nearly seven years at Goldman Sachs, laterally as executive director and senior counsel. She was the lead lawyer for the EMEA real estate private equity investing team at the firm and prior to that she worked at DLA Piper.
At Europa, she will be based in London and will be responsible for heading up the legal and compliance functions at the firm, as well as providing legal counsel and support for all business products and strategies.

She brings a wealth of legal experience in real estate across multiple sectors and jurisdictions in Europe, which will support our focus on protecting clients’ and their beneficiaries’ best interests, through robust governance.”
Skeath added: “I am looking forward to taking on this new role at Europa and supporting the business’ investment approach of seeking mispriced risk. In my role, I will work closely with all the teams across the business to provide guidance and deliver the best possible outcomes for Europa’s clients.”
