Fairley House School has secured planning consent to convert 202 Lambeth Road, London, into a new special educational needs (SEN) school.
The school intends to consolidate operations from two existing locations to the new educational campus, which was designed by Tate + Co. Fairley House School acquired the building for £6m in 2025.
Daphne Hamilton-Fairley, founder of Fairley House School, said: “We are delighted to have reached this important milestone. Knight Frank has been instrumental at every stage, from finding the right building to securing planning for our new school. This project will allow us to bring our Fairley House community together and deliver even more transformative learning experiences for all our students.”
Andy Tuohy, senior planner in the planning team at Knight Frank added: “We’re very pleased to have secured a resolution to grant at committee. The new SEN facility will make a meaningful difference, supporting children with dyslexia and dyspraxia. We now look forward to working with the council to finalise the Section 106 so that works can begin as soon as possible.”
