Flexible workspace operator BLOCK Workspace has secured space at two office buildings in Manchester and Birmingham.

In Manchester, BLOCK has signed for space at the recently refurbished Sunlight House for its first site in the city, and in Birmingham, the company has secured space at One Colmore Square.

BLOCK currently operates sites in Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton and Bristol and is targeting additional prime assets in key UK cities.

Ben Cheriton, founder and CEO of BLOCK Workspace, said: “These signings mark an important point in the growth of the business and reflect our ambition to build a national platform. Manchester and Birmingham are both strong office markets with sustained demand for high quality, flexible space. Securing buildings of this calibre allows us to deliver our product in locations where we know it will resonate with occupiers. Following our recent investment, we are well positioned to continue expanding and to move quickly on further opportunities.”
