A former church in Upper End near Buxton is being put up for sale at auction as a potential redevelopment opportunity with a guide price of £200,000.
Planning permission was granted in 2019 for the conversion and extension of the stone-built Holy Trinity Church into five new two- to three-bedroom houses, but the permission has now lapsed.
The building will be sold at an online property auction held by Pugh, part of Eddisons, on 18 September.

Planning consent would have to be reapplied for, but because it has been granted previously there is precedent for a residential scheme.
