German bank signs for 8 Bishopsgate space

German bank BayernLB has signed for 8,000 sq ft of office space at Mitsubishi Estate London and Stanhope’s 8 Bishopsgate scheme in the City of London.

The bank has taken level 37 of the building. Flexible workspace operator Huckletree has also confirmed it is taking 30,000 sq ft across two floors of the building, which is now 80% let. 

Shinichi Kagitomi, managing director of Mitsubishi Estate London, said: “We are pleased to welcome BayernLB to our growing roster of blue-chip occupiers, while Huckletree will offer best-in-class flexible workplace solutions that will enhance the existing services and amenities within 8 Bishopsgate.”

David Camp, chief executive of Stanhope, added: “Their innovative approach to workspace solutions aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing a dynamic environment where businesses can thrive.
