Get Living appoints new chief information and technology officer

Get Living has appointed Jon Wood as the company’s new chief information and technology officer.

Wood, who has more than 20 years’ experience in international c-suite digital and technology roles, joins Get Living from the Medical Protection Society, where he was executive director, member experience, digital and data. 

Prior to that he was vice president and chief information officer, digital and data at Disney. He has also worked for Carnival, Merlin Entertainments, Fitness First and Nuffield Health.

Rick de Blaby, chief executive officer at Get Living, said: “Jon is a brilliant addition to Get Living, bringing significant experience of delivering successful digital strategies and transformation programmes along with deep insight into enhancing the customer journey and resident experience. With five new neighbourhoods launching in the next few years across the UK, having the right capabilities in place is going to be crucial to ensure that we are fit for the future and remain a market leader.”

Wood added: “As the UK’s pioneer in build-to-rent, Get Living is on a significant growth trajectory and I am delighted to be joining the Get Living team at this exciting time.”
