GLi has achieved practical completion of the 61,611 sq ft PR1 warehouse on Abbey Road, Park Royal.

The all-electric unit is pre-let to gourmet food supplier Classic Fine Foods and boasts a wide range of sustainability features, including PV solar rooftop panels, on-site battery storage and 100% EV van fleet charging.

David Johnson, chief executive officer at GLi, said: “We develop future-proofed properties to save occupiers’ energy and operational costs, allowing businesses to thrive in an all-electric future of solar power, battery storage and electric van delivery. The net zero 2030 plans for London and government legislation mean that businesses in Park Royal and across the capital will have to comply with new rules for net zero operations. Our units deliver that.”

Luke Le Brun, director of asset management at PATRIZIA, added: “The completion of PR1 marks a significant milestone for GLi and reflects our commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions in the industrial sector that support the challenges of urbanisation and decarbonisation. We are proud to be at the forefront of transforming the industrial landscape in greater London and unlocking value for our investors through our urban logistics platform.”

GLi has already commenced construction on a 77,705 sq ft unit at the site.
