GLP has completed its Magna Park South development in Lutterworth.
The developer has finished the construction of three new Grade A units of 388,000 sq ft, 136,000 sq ft and 119,000 sq ft, in addition to the 187,000 sq ft MPS 5 unit.
The completion of Magna Park South ends a five-year period of activity, which has seen GLP speculatively develop 2.9m sq. ft across 11 buildings over three phases. The company has already leased units at the site to Amazon, Whistl, Movianto, JD.com, Centrica and Unipart.
Bruce Topley, managing director of GLP, said: “The completion of Magna Park South is a major milestone for us. The park contains some of the most environmentally responsible warehouses in the country, affirming our commitment to maintaining the highest sustainability credentials. The combination of state-of-the-art facilities, a prime location, and an enviable list of existing and prospective tenants positions Magna Park South for continued long-term success.”
