Grosvenor has appointed Berkeley Group chief executive Rob Perrins as a non-executive director to the board of its UK property business.
Perrins has been the housebuilder’s chief executive since 2009 and a main board member since 2001, and under his leadership the company has increased its focus on regenerating large scale brownfield sites, reviving underused land to deliver new homes.
Perrins is also a trustee of the Berkeley Foundation – an independent charity that helps disadvantaged young people – and a non-executive director of PWC’s UK public interest board.
James Raynor, CEO of Grosvenor Property UK, said: “I am delighted to welcome Rob to our board. His knowledge of the market and passion for innovation and sustainability are fully aligned with our ambitions to create exceptional properties and places that help businesses, communities and nature to thrive.”
