Grosvenor has appointed Hanover Green Retail as sole agents for all of the company’s strategy, retail, and restaurant lettings across the south of Belgravia.
The appointment, which encompasses addresses such as Elizabeth Street, Ebury Street and Eccleston Yards, expands Hanover Green’s existing remit in the management of Motcomb Street in the north of Belgravia, which began at the end of 2022.
Grosvenor said in the first half of this year there had been 54 leasing renewals or regears across its Mayfair and Belgravia portfolio, delivering £15.5m in rent at an average of 5% over December 2022 ERVs.
Matthew Hyland, head of agency at Hanover Green Retail, said: “One of the most rewarding parts of running a business is developing long term business relationships and fully understanding a client’s objectives. We have been working with Grosvenor since 2022 on Motcomb Street and are starting to see the rewards of the hard work undertaken there on strategy and leasing. We are delighted to be able to extend this work to the south of Belgravia and look forward to working to get this neighbourhood to its very best with quality retail and restaurant brands.”
Jane Macdiarmid, Belgravia retail director at Grosvenor, added: “We’re pleased to be expanding our work with Hanover Green, who were instrumental in our rebranding of Motcomb Street earlier this year. Belgravia’s strong market performance is testament to Grosvenor’s ongoing commitment to sustainable placemaking, strategic partnerships and wider community investments. We look forward to continuing our work with Hanover Green in their new, expanded remit.”
