Harworth Group has signed an option agreement to purchase the freehold of a 168-acre site in Northamptonshire, capable of delivering up to 1.6m sq ft of grade A industrial and logistics space.
The regeneration specialist intends to promote the land, which sits south of junction 15 of the M1, for sustainable employment use as part of the emerging West Northamptonshire Strategic Plan
In addition to creating employment space at the site, Harworth plans to deliver ‘unique landscaping features’ and an ecological enhancement area, which will provide a new increase of biodiversity.
The proposed development will target net zero carbon status, an EPC rating of A and BREEAM Excellent.
