Henley Investment Management has secured planning consent for revised plans for the redevelopment of an underutilised site in Ealing, London.

The co-location development on Stanley Road in South Acton will provide 140 new ‘tenure blind’ market sale homes and 10,915 sq ft of purpose-built industrial workspace.

The residential element of the scheme will comprise a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bed homes, with 35% intermediate and affordable rent homes.

The plans for the HTA Architects-designed scheme were updated following extensive consultation with the London Borough of Ealing, local stakeholders and residents and to reflect the latest policy and legislative standards.

The development will transform Stanley Road with the introduction of active ground floor use, welcoming entrances and new tree planting, as well as an improved public realm along the pedestrian footpath.

Ian Rickwood, chief executive of Henley Investment Management, said: “We are pleased to have secured the green light to proceed with the development which will provide much needed new homes and employment opportunities to the local community. This important milestone is the result of extensive consultation with the council and local stakeholders and our development team looks forward to maintaining these close relationships moving forward.”
