The UK’s industrial and logistics development scene is a two-way street between local authorities and public sector organisations, which own the planning process and often own the land, and private developers, who have the capital, the expertise and the will to deliver industrial development that supports local authority objectives.
But how can public sector authorities work more effectively with private sector partners to unlock employment and regeneration opportunities, drive investment into communities, realise commitments made in local plans and help enable the transition to a sustainable, lower-carbon economy?
