BE News is produced by a team of trusted, award-winning journalists and content experts with decades of experience writing about the built environment – I was the editor of Property Week for eight years and Simon Creasey was a contributing editor.

We love writing about property, but over the years, we have come to realise that it is part of a much wider industry – the built environment industry – and that nobody is writing in a holistic way about that wider industry. We decided it was high time someone did.

Our strapline is: BE informed, BE connected… with BE News. Whether you are an industry leader, are just starting out in your career or have not yet embarked on it, you will be able to access all the news and information you need – including vital macro-economic, international and careers insights – via our benews.co.uk website and our daily BE Alert newsletters.

Our mission is to deliver what we are calling ‘fast and slow journalism’, so as well as being able to instantly access ‘fast’ news, views and analysis, you will be able to immerse yourself in ‘slow’, longer-read content such as features, investigations, reports and white papers.

You will also be able to network and make those all-important connections through our bespoke events and content solutions service, which won’t just connect you with peers from your sector but with thought leaders from across the built environment. Although we will be looking for commercial partners to help deliver some of our content solutions, we will cater to a wide range of budgets and, like our editorial content, these solutions will be free at the point of access.
