BlueFive Private Wealth and General Projects have sold 43 Brook Green in Hammersmith to JD.com for an undisclosed price.
The office building, which is now known as Systems, features 127,000 sq ft of prime office space and will be used by JD.com as its new European headquarters.
Following a comprehensive transformation led by General Projects and designed by Buckley Gray Yeoman, the building, which was originally constructed in the 1930s and previously served as the HQ of EMI, has gone from an underutilised asset to now serve as a modern, sustainable workplace.
General Projects’ refurbishment increased the building’s net internal area by close to 50%, unlocking substantially more workspace across the existing structure while enhancing the occupier experience.
