Calling all senior figures in the life sciences sector. BE News is holding an important, free-to-attend ‘Spotlight on Life Sciences’ event in London this week and you are invited!

The event, which will take place from 5pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday 29 January at Impact Hub, London, will assess the outlook for the life sciences sector and ask: How do we ensure the sector lives up to expectations?

We are delighted to reveal that our two keynote speakers will be Jo Pisani, chair of London’s MedCity and of Birmingham’s Precision Health Technology Accelerator and the West Midlands Health Technology Innovation Accelerator, and Josh Palmer, global real estate transaction lead and head of real estate and capital projects at GSK.

Sponsored by British Land, Linesight and Carter Jonas, the event will also feature a one-hour Question Time-style panel debate and networking for up to 80 of the most influential figures in the UK life sciences sector and wider built environment industry.

Michael Riordan, managing director of Linesight, will kick off the main debate with a short scene-setting presentation. BE News editor-in-chief Liz Hamson will then be joined for the main debate by expert panellists: Gareth Roberts, head of development – innovation & life science at British Land; Priya Shah, associate director – life sciences, UK & Europe, at Linesight; Matt Lee, partner and head of science and technology at Carter Jonas; Hannah Davies, chief executive of the Northern Health Science Alliance; Rob Lemming, managing director – public sector & life sciences at Mace Construct; and Peter Farrelly, regional development director at PM Group.

If you are interested in attending or co-sponsoring the event, please email BE News head of client relations Sian Wilde at sian@benews.co.uk. But be quick! There are only a few spaces left.
