Knight Frank has strengthened its industrial and logistics lease advisory offering by hiring Matthew Rickman as a partner.
Rickman joins the firm from Montagu Evans, where he has worked for the past 10 years.
In his new role, he will support the expansion of Knight Frank’s industrial and logistics lease advisory team, working closely with Charles Binks, head of industrial and logistics agency, and Simon Warren and Tom Adamson, partners in industrial and logistics lease advisory at Knight Frank.
Binks said: “Against a persistently uncertain macroeconomic backdrop, industrial and logistics asset owners have sharpened their focus on generating sustainable, long-term income from their portfolios. At the same time, occupiers are demanding more from their real estate and reappraising their space to ensure it supports growth. Matthew’s appointment strengthens Knight Frank’s offering to both parties, enabling landlord and tenant clients to benefit from his extensive experience throughout the lease negotiation and renegotiation process, as well as his valuable expertise in landlord and tenant law.”
Rickman added: “Knight Frank has earned a reputation as one of the foremost advisers to the UK industrial & logistics sector. With a holistic offering across occupier and landlord advisory services and transactional support, the team provides a one-stop-shop for investors, developers, landlords and occupiers seeking expert advice on the optimisation of their industrial and logistics real estate. I look forward to joining Charles and the wider Knight Frank team as it continues its impressive growth trajectory and cements its position as a leader in the sector.”
