Linea Properties has submitted a planning application to bring forward the regeneration of the Shoreditch Works site in London.
Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) alongside heritage specialist Richard Griffiths Architects, the proposals will see an underutilised 1.4-hectare site transformed into a mixed-use development.
The site will offer circa 423,340 sq ft of new build office space and circa 227,000 sq ft of modernised office space, with the number of homes on site doubled to 78, 35% of which will be affordable.
A new circa 8,500 sq ft indoor/outdoor ‘Urban Room’ community asset will be delivered alongside circa 38,570 sq ft of public realm and circa 58,060 sq ft of publicly accessible internal ground floor space.
The development will also see the Grade II* listed 91-101 Worship Street and the listed Webb Terrace restored.
