Sheet Anchor has acquired M Parc Fforestfach (formerly known as Fforestfach Retail Parc) in Swansea, Wales, for an undisclosed price.
The 142,000 sq ft retail park is located on the A483 Pontardulais Road approximately four miles north west of the city centre.
M Parc Fforestfach comprises 19 units ranging from circa 2,300 sq ft to 40,000 sq ft and the tenant line up includes Boots, Aldi and Home Bargains.
James Buchanan, group managing director of LCP, which is part of M Core and will take on the management of the park, said: “The acquisition of M Parc Fforestfach aligns perfectly with M Core’s strategy of investing in well-located retail assets with strong tenant mixes. Its prime location, combined with the existing established tenants, make the retail park a highly attractive destination for customers and prospective brands. We are confident that our expertise will unlock further value and will solidify its positioning as a leading retail and leisure destination in the region.”
Adam Martin, director and head of LCP’s Bristol Office added: “M Parc Fforestfach already holds a strong foundation with its diverse occupant base and positioning in a high footfall location. We are looking forward to working with the existing tenants, as well as welcoming new brands, to create a thriving retail park that serves the needs of visitors and local communities.”
Osborne Clarke represented Sheet Anchor – part of M Core – on the deal.
