London has been ranked the second best top talent location globally for technology and AI firms.

In Colliers’ new Global Tech Markets 2025 report, London is only ranked behind the San Francisco Bay area as a top talent location for technology and AI firms.

The study, which analysed more than 200 global cities based on talent depth, venture capital flows, productivity and academic infrastructure, placed 22 EMEA cities in the global top 50, with Paris and Dublin the second and third highest ranked locations in the region.

Stuart Melrose, head of London tenant representation at Colliers, said: “This report shows that not only is London Europe’s primary tech hub, but that it is a significant presence on a global scale, outranking the likes of New York and Beijing. The capital continues to be the destination of choice for tech occupiers seeking office space. Access to a highly skilled and diverse talent pool, an established reputation for innovation, and world-class infrastructure make London uniquely positioned to support the growth ambitions of tech and AI firms.”

Andrew Hallissey, CEO of global occupier services at Colliers, added: “Europe is now the proving ground for smart, scalable, and evidence-based location strategy. It’s no longer just about where you can grow – but where you can grow best.”
