Lovell has appointed Chantel Cresswell as head of partnerships.

Creswell has more than a decade of experience across both open market and partnership housing and most recently served as senior manager of strategic partners at Homes England. She previously worked for Lovell as assistant partnerships director in 2022.

In her new role, Cresswell will be responsible for driving Lovell’s growth across the West Midlands and will focus on strengthening long-standing partnerships and developing new ones with registered providers, local authorities and housing associations.

Cresswell said: “This feels like the right time to return to the partnerships market, with the new 10-year Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) getting underway and strong demand driving the need for rapid delivery. It’s an exciting time to be back at Lovell and to support the business through this next phase. While Lovell operates nationally, its decentralised philosophy empowers regional teams and fosters strong, focused local relationships, enabling a deep understanding of regional needs and nuances and helping to build long-term, trusted partnerships.”

Stuart Penn, regional managing director at Lovell, added: “Chantel’s experience gives her a deep understanding of the partnerships sector and how to support delivery on the ground, making her a true asset to the team. There are lots of opportunities ahead, especially with SAHP and devolution in the region, she will play a key role in ensuring partners are fully supported, paving the way for successful regional development.”
