Midlands-based strategic land and property development company Maximus Group has submitted outline plans for a new industrial and logistics scheme in Worcester.
The 11.8ha site, which is located near Junction 6 of the M5, will provide up to 30,000 sq m (circa 323,000 sq ft) of manufacturing, logistics and light industrial space across a series of sustainable buildings.
The development will comprise a variety of unit sizes designed to meet a range of occupier requirements.
Jon Hickton, director at Maximus Group, said: “As a local company, we’re really pleased to have submitted our plans for this strategic site, providing a significant contribution to the supply of land for employment need in the city of Worcester. The development will support economic growth and productivity, delivering an estimated annual £24m GVA from on-site jobs and £372,000 in business rates. We’ve already had substantial interest from potential occupiers and discussions will continue as we progress through planning.”
