McLaren has secured planning approval for a mixed-use development at Wellington Square in Leeds.
The development comprises 464 build-to-rent (BTR) homes to be delivered by McLaren Living and circa 364,000 sq ft of workspace delivered by McLaren Property.
The new neighbourhood, which was designed by Howells Architects, will transform a 2.47 acre site into a new gateway to Leeds city centre.
The 45-storey residential tower will accommodate households of up to six people in apartments ranging from one- to three-bedrooms. On site amenities include a concierge, post/parcel storage room, a residents lounge, a fitness and wellbeing space on the first floor and a sky lounge offering panoramic views of the city.
Two office buildings of more than 14 and 15 storeys will provide circa 364,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace. The buildings are designed to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 6*.
