Native Land has appointed Phil Haddleton from BGO as commercial development director.
Haddleton, who spent nearly a decade at BGO, was a principal in the company’s Central London team and a core member of the management team for Welput, BGO’s central London office fund, specialising in the repositioning of underperforming office assets into best-in-class buildings.
In his new role, he will lead Native Land’s commercial development team, ensuring the successful execution of the company’s diverse portfolio.
Alasdair Nicholls, chief executive of Native Land, said: “Phil’s expertise in the London office market and his commitment to creating enduring, high-quality spaces make him a valuable addition to our leadership team. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as we continue to deliver transformative spaces and places that set new standards for sustainability and innovation across London and beyond.”
Haddleton added: “It’s a privilege to take on this role at a time when there is such momentum at the business. Native Land has long stood out to me as a developer and investor which does things differently. I now have a unique opportunity to contribute to its next chapter by delivering and growing the commercial portfolio, creating and managing spaces which respond to how people actually want to work today and which stand the test of time for tomorrow.”
