Native Land has appointed Will Richards as investment management adviser.

Richards has more than 12 years’ experience, most recently as a director within Savills’ Asia Pacific capital markets and global cross border investment teams in Hong Kong and Seoul, where he advised global institutional clients on their investment and development strategies across the UK and Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he spent more than five years in Savills’ Central London investment business.

In his new role, Richards will be based in Hong Kong and will take responsibility for working closely with Native Land’s shareholders and partners across the region. He will focus on building new relationships with investors across Asia who are seeking exposure to prime Central London and UK mixed-use, commercial and residential real estate.

Alasdair Nicholls, chief executive of Native Land, said: “Will’s combination of central London investment expertise and his region-wide experience advising Asian investors gives him a rare perspective on the flows of capital between these markets. His appointment reinforces our commitment to being the partner of choice for Asian investors seeking high-quality opportunities in London and across the UK.”

Richards added: “Native Land has built an exceptional reputation as a trusted partner to international investors and as a developer of some of London’s most distinctive mixed-use and residential projects. I am delighted to be working with the team to deepen and broaden the company’s relationships across Asia, connecting new sources of capital with Native Land’s pipeline at an exciting moment in the market.”
