Care home and property investment company Only Care has acquired a consented 85-bed care home development site in Aylesbury, for an undisclosed price.

The proposed care home is arranged over three storeys and is situated on a 1.42 acre self-contained site in Weston Turville. The care home will form part of a wider mixed-use Taylor Wimpey scheme comprising more than 300 new residential homes.

Rishi Dhamecha, managing director of Only Care, said. “We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of the site in Weston Turville and look forward to constructing and opening the luxury care home, to serve the wider Aylesbury community. It’s been a pleasure working with Mandip at Knight Frank and we look forward to future projects together.”

Mandip Bhogal, partner, healthcare at Knight Frank, which advised Only Care on the acquisition, said: “Development projects such as this, provide much-needed modern and purpose-built care facilities to the local markets. This development will provide a high quality care home while creating jobs for the local community. As demographics continue to shift, the demand for high quality care homes shows no sign of subsiding and only strengthens the already growing investment case.”
