Picton appoints Beck as non-exec director

Picton has appointed Helen Beck as an independent non-executive director of the company with effect from 1 August 2024. 

Beck, who has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, will become chair of the remuneration committee and a member of the audit and risk, nomination and property valuation committees. 

She was formerly a partner of Deloitte and before that she held roles at Standard Bank, McLagan Europe (part of Aon) and Fidelity International. 

As previously announced, Maria Bentley will retire from the board on 30 July 2024. 

Lena Wilson, chair of Picton, said: “We are delighted to welcome Helen to Picton. Her executive career and non-executive experience will further complement and strengthen the board.”
