Ramboll has appointed Phil Kelly as head of department for buildings advisory and consultancy in its buildings unit for UK and Ireland.

Kelly returns to Ramboll having previously headed the firm’s sustainable solutions department and sustainability in the buildings team between 2019-2023.

In his new role, he will champion Ramboll’s global ‘partner for sustainable change’ vision for its clients through a multi-disciplinary value proposition, including building performance, sustainability, acoustics and façade engineering specialisms.

Jason Layfield, executive director – buildings at Ramboll, said: “I’m delighted Phil has re-joined the business as head of department for the advisory and consultancy business.  Phil brings a wealth of experience in sustainable building design and performance and is a recognised international thought leader.  I look forward to working closely with him as we grow our advisory offering and business in Europe.”

Kelly added: “It’s fantastic to be back at Ramboll, whose focus and dedication to promoting sustainability and excellence aligns with my own. I’m excited to be championing the partner for sustainable change vision to our existing clients, as well as sharing this vision with new ones by growing the business’ advisory and consultancy business in buildings.”
