Reef + Partners has unveiled plans for its new Royal College Place development at King’s Cross in London.
The proposed scheme, which will be built on a 3.7-acre site, will comprise three state-of-the-art science and innovation buildings, 127 new homes and three new public spaces at the heart of London’s Knowledge Quarter.
A striking atrium will sit at the centre of the development, which has been designed as a hub for collaboration and exhibitions, complemented by expansive roof terraces and double-height ground floor commercial units.
The scheme will build on the momentum already established at Reef + Partners’ Tribeca scheme, which sits adjacent to the site, creating a cluster of specialist buildings designed to forge collaboration, accelerate scientific discovery, support ambitious businesses and drive innovation at scale.
A full planning application was submitted to the London Borough of Camden in May and a decision is expected to be made later in the year.
