BE News is delighted to announce that Argent founder Peter Freeman will be delivering the keynote speech at our Spotlight on Public Private Partnerships event on 9 September – which is now open for registrations.

The chair of the Cambridge Growth Company and former chair of Homes England will be kicking off the free-to-attend event, which is sponsored by SCAPE Group and Stantec and taking place from 10:30 to 13:00 at host CBRE’s head office at Henrietta House in London.

Freeman’s speech will be followed by a one-hour Question Time-style panel debate, moderated by BE News editor-in-chief Liz Hamson and featuring panellists including: Caroline Compton-James, deputy chief executive at SCAPE Group; Gary Stevens, planning director at Stantec; John Percy, head of public sector for London and the South East at CBRE; Lesha Chetty, business unit director at Mace; and Sophie White, regeneration sector head at Aviva Capital Partners.

During the event, which will be attended by 80 to 100 senior figures from across the built environment industry and public sector, we will be asking – and hopefully answering – the question: ‘How do we unlock the funding to turn ambition into reality?’ As well as exploring how to navigate the funding landscape, we will assess the role that public private partnerships could – and should – be playing in helping deliver the government’s housing, infrastructure and regeneration objectives.

Following the keynote speech and panel debate, attendees will have the opportunity to network with some of the most dynamic figures from across the public and private sectors.

Spaces are strictly limited and expected to go fast, so if you would like to attend this important and highly topical event, please register your interest by 5pm on Friday 25 July by emailing BE News head of client relations Sian Wilde at sian@benews.co.uk.

If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact our head of commercial Nick Stroffolino at nick@benews.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you there!
