Flexible workspace provider Runway East has appointed Steven Mew, formerly of GPE, as a non-executive director.
Mew was customer experience and flex director at GPE and was responsible for the development of the company’s flex business and customer first programme.
Mew said: “Runway East has one of the best flex products on the market, ticking lots of boxes that should appeal to building owners – a respected leadership team, strong financials and B Corp status. What’s not to like and this is why at GPE we were an early partner of the business. With nearly a decade under their belt and a developing flex market I’m excited to be part of the team as it pushes to grow.”
Natasha Guerra, CEO of Runway East, added: “Steven has always championed our business, he has a real understanding of what we do here at Runway East and rich insight into the property market at large. We are growing at Runway East, in our hometown of London, but across the country, it’s an exciting time for us.”
Runway East currently operates 10 sites across the UK, with a new site in Birmingham due to open later this year. It is an advanced discussions on two further sites.
