Sama Investment Group has submitted plans for a new mixed-use regeneration scheme on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre.

Designed by ADG Architects, the Highgate Corner development will comprise 31 residential apartments and three commercial units on a vacant brownfield site on the corner of Highgate Road, Ladypool Road and Stratford Road. The scheme will also feature a rooftop garden for residents.

Bilal Ahmed, executive chairman and founder of Sama Investments, said: “I am excited that we have submitted plans for our Ladypool Road development. It could be a fantastic project on a popular street within Birmingham’s famous Balti Triangle area and one that we would be extremely proud of. It would see us transform a brownfield site to deliver much-needed new homes as well as local growth and prosperity.

“Ladypool Road could form a key part of our exciting development pipeline for 2025 as we continue to deliver high-quality places for people to live. This is another example of our ambition to deliver for the city.”
