Savills appoints new head of Birmingham investment

Savills has hired Oliver Forster from CBRE as a director and head of Birmingham investment.

Forster, who has 20 years’ of industry experience, was a senior director at CBRE and prior to that he worked for BNP Paribas Real Estate, JLL and Lloyds Banking Group. 

In his new role, he will be based at the firm’s Colmore Row office and will focus on the Midlands investment market.

With extensive experience, Oliver brings a strong track record of success, particularly in challenging market conditions. This appointment coincides with a strong start to the year. We are seeing increasing conviction from buyers as robust rental growth projections are evidenced and stock levels are starting to increase, driven by greater proactivity from sellers.”
