Savills has strengthened its retail, leisure and F&B research capabilities by appointing Matt Thompson from Shaftesbury Capital as a director in commercial research.
Thompson, who has more than 15 years’ experience in real estate research, served as head of property insight at Shaftesbury Capital and prior to that he was head of retail strategy at Colliers.
In his newly created role, Thompson will collaborate closely with Savills’ retail and leisure agency and research teams “integrating advanced analytics and unique consumer datasets to drive commercial value for clients”.
