Savills has strengthened its roadside retail and food and beverage capabilities with the appointment of Neil Grice as a director.
Prior to joining Savills, Grice, who has more than 35 years of roadside retail and F&B experience, founded Grice Collins Long (GCL) in 2006 and oversaw its growth as managing director.
In his new role, Grice will have a national mandate and focus on motorway service areas, drive-thru developments, EV charging sites and lorry park developments.
Alan Spencer, head of UK retail at Savills, said: “Neil is a recognised national authority in travel sector retail, particularly, motorway service areas, drive-thru developments, food courts, and turnover rents. With his extensive experience he will add to our capabilities to deliver retail services across the UK and enhance their delivery for clients.”
Grice added: “Savills is recognised as a leader in the real estate market and its retail team has a strong reputation for service delivery and providing excellent outcomes for clients. I look forward to contributing to their continued success and growing the offer around roadside retail.”
