SEGRO has leased 86,000 sq m (circa 925,000 sq ft) to Relaxdays, the largest e-commerce company in central Germany, at SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig-Airport in Kabelsketal. The deal is SEGRO’s biggest ever pre-let in Northern Europe.
Christopher Gigl, investment director at SEGRO in Germany, said: “This is the largest built-to-suit project we have ever realised in Germany for Relaxdays. In order for such a large-scale project to go smoothly, everyone involved had to pull together.”
The development, which was delivered by construction company Goldbeck, incorporates a fitness and yoga area as well as a roof terrace for employees.
SEGRO is currently developing around 12,000 sq m (circa 129,000 sq ft) on the site as an extension for Nagel, in addition to just under 8,800 sq m (circa 94,000 sq ft), which has already been pre-let to another existing tenant.
SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig-Airport is located in Eichenallee, in Kabelsketal, close to Leipzig/Halle Airport.
