Shaftesbury Capital has appointed Rachel Kentleton as an independent non-executive director of the company and chair of the audit committee.
Kentleton was chief financial officer of St Modwen Properties from 2021 to 2023 and prior to that was group finance director at PayPoint and held various senior financial and strategic positions at easyJet.
She is currently senior independent director and chair of the audit and risk committee of JET2, a non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee of Trustpilot Group and a non-executive director and audit committee chair of Travelodge.
Kentleton will assume her new responsibilities at the conclusion of the company’s annual general meeting on 14 May 2026 at which point Ruth Anderson will step down as a non-executive director and audit committee chair.
