Sky has secured planning consent for the expansion of its state-of-the-art Sky Studios Elstree, which will be financed and developed by L&G.
The company intends to add 10 new film and TV stages to the 65-acre complex in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, growing it to 22 stages providing 470,000 sq ft of space for filming.
Since opening in 2022, Sky Studios Elstree has hosted a string of global blockbuster films and TV productions, including Wicked, Paddington in Peru and Jurassic World: Rebirth.
