Stoford has struck a deal to acquire 82 acres of land in Cheshire on which it intends to build an industrial and logistics scheme of up to 1.1m sq ft.
The site at Gadbrook, Northwich, which is located on the A556, 5.8 miles from junction 19 of the M6, is allocated for employment uses within the Cheshire West Local Plan.
Stoford intends to submit a hybrid planning application early next year consisting of a detailed application for the site access and outline plans for up to 1.1m sq ft of manufacturing, industrial and logistics accommodation, with units ranging from 100,000 sq ft to 600,000 sq ft. Stoford agreed to purchase the land from a private landowner for an undisclosed price.
