Stoford has received planning approval for a new circa 210,000 sq ft HQ for Task Consumer Products in Wolverhampton.
The industrial/distribution space will be built on an 18-acre site at Citygate Park on Stafford Road. The site currently comprises two large warehouses, one occupied by Task, and the other was formerly occupied by Fablink.
Stoford has already commenced demolition of the vacant unit, which will pave the way for an 83,500 sq ft extension to Task’s existing premises and the construction of a new circa 125,000 sq ft development on the same site. The developer is targeting BREEAM Excellent for both units.

Work is underway on the demolition of an adjacent disused property, with construction of the new units due to start next month.”
