Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has secured planning consent for a 480,469 sq ft Grade A logistics scheme in Heywood, Greater Manchester, following a successful appeal.
TCC will deliver two units of 51,623 sq ft and 47,468 sq ft in one building, with the option to combine them depending on occupier requirements, and a third unit of 381,378 sq ft in a separate building.
The company is targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating for the development, which will feature timber structures and air source heat pumps for the offices, 100% PV-ready roofing and zero carbon warehouse frames.
TCC submitted a planning application for the site, which is located on Manchester Road, in October 2022 and secured permission from the Planning Inspectorate following a successful planning appeal. A general contractor is expected to be appointed in Q1 2025, and TCC will complete the scheme in summer 2026.
