Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund (GMPVF) has let a 26,085 sq ft unit in Altrincham to The Guide Association.

The association will use the Altrincham 26 unit, which is located off George Richards Way to the east of the town centre, as its main UK distribution centre.

The scheme, which was acquired by GMPVF in 2022, comprises two units. The second unit, Altrincham 38, provides 38,060 sq ft and is available to let.

It is testament both to the quality of Altrincham 26 and the strength of the local market.”

Jonathan Stanlake from CBRE, investment managers for GMPVF, added: “We are extremely pleased to secure this letting to The Guide Association, which shows GMPVF’s commitment to developing high-quality property, creating employment opportunities and contributing to the economic growth of the region.’

Robert Taylor, head of property for The Guide Association, said: “We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Altrincham 26. This move is a significant step in our commitment to operational excellence and environmental responsibility. The unit’s strong green credentials, align perfectly with our sustainability goals. This modern, efficient space will not only enhance our operational capabilities but also provide a first-class working environment for our team, reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future for our business and the wider community.”
