Urban&Civic has acquired Todd’s Nursery, a specialist, family-run supplier of mature trees, shrubs and hedging plants, based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, for an undisclosed price.
The nursery, which was founded in 2016 by Jon Todd, operates across 72 hectares and holds more than 22,000 trees.
Urban&Civic said the acquisition secures a valuable asset for its landscape-led development portfolio, ensuring long-term access to high-quality tree stock.
By bringing tree cultivation in-house, the business will deliver cost savings, improve procurement timelines and enhance control over species selection and stock resilience.
