Vistry has agreed a deal to acquire a 33.75-acre residential development site in Yarnton on the outskirts of Oxford.
The Yarnton Fields site has already secured outline planning permission for 540 mixed-tenure homes as well as a community hub and elderly/extra care provision.
A minimum of 43% of the total number of homes being delivered at Yarnton have been designated as affordable and provision has also been made for a community work hub, new playing fields for William Fletcher Primary School as well as public open spaces and community woodland.

The delivery of 540 high quality homes, alongside the provision of a community hub and multiple additional facilities, will help to address Oxford’s chronic housing need while providing the infrastructure required for new neighbourhoods to flourish.”
