Vistry has agreed a deal with emh to deliver 125 new affordable homes at Millers Place in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
The Millers Place site, which is situated to the east of Stoke Road, has planning permission for 475 new homes in total. Emh will take 125 homes for the affordable market, with a significant proportion offered through affordable rent and shared ownership.
The remaining homes will be split between the private rental sector (PRS) and open market sale, with around 20% PRS and 50% marketed through Vistry’s Bovis Homes, Linden Homes and Countryside Homes brands.
Andy Reynolds, managing director of Vistry south east Midlands, said: “Partnering with emh at Millers Place is a major step forward for Hinckley, helping to accelerate delivery of affordable homes alongside a balanced mix of tenures. I look forward to working with emh on this important project and many more over the coming years.”
Chris Jones, deputy CEO of emh, added: “We’re proud to be partnering with Vistry to bring these new affordable homes to Hinckley. This partnership will help us achieve our aim of creating sustainable, high quality homes which meet the needs of local people. I look forward to seeing the scheme progress over the coming months and welcoming residents to their new homes.”
