Smart buildings solutions provider Spica Technologies has made two senior promotions in Europe as part of a strategic restructure of the company.
Paul Jones (pictured), who joined Spica in 2016 as chief operations officer, is now managing director for Spica’s UK operations. He replaces outgoing managing director Tim Streather, who along with outgoing technical director Paul Collins, are taking on roles of senior advisers to the business.
Spica has also appointed Lynda Gillson – formerly chief product officer – as managing director for the firm’s operations in Sweden.
As part of the revamped organisation structure the company will now comprise two entities under the Nordomatic app services banner. Spica’s UK operations will focus on delivering the firm’s flagship Spica Workplace solution and Spica’s Swedish operation will specialise in delivering the Spica Connect and Spica Energy solutions.
