Specialist insurance and property funding firm J3 Advisory has appointed Peter MacAllan as director of the firm’s debt advisory team.
MacAllan was a partner at Knight Frank for 10 years heading up its structured development finance team in London where he successfully orchestrated multiple development finance facilities exceeding £100m.
In his new role, he will work closely with Jack Bristow, founder and managing director at J3, and co-founder and director, James Mole, to further enhance J3’s debt advisory offering to professionals within the UK construction sector.
Bristow said: “We are delighted to have Peter on board. Peter will work closely with our developer clients, helping them structure projects in a manner that is appealing to both lenders and investors, providing them with the best opportunity to secure the funding necessary to bring their projects to fruition.’
