Global alternative asset manager ICG has recruited Greg Minson from Goldman Sach as global head of asset management within its real estate business.
Minson, who spent more than 25 years at Goldman, was most recently global COO for the real estate group within the company’s asset and wealth management division and previously led the realty management division in Europe and Asia, and was CFO of the European special situations group.
In his new role, he will be based in London and work closely with ICG’s global head of real estate Krysto Nikolic to further grow and scale the platform.
Nikolic said: “We are delighted to welcome Greg to ICG. His extensive experience across asset and fund management in complex real estate investing businesses will be immensely valuable as we continue to scale our real estate platform across strategies and geographies.”
Minson added: “I am excited to join ICG to help continue to build the real estate business alongside Krysto and the broader leadership team. With an initial focus on fund management, international expansion and client engagement, I am looking forward to working with investment and support teams to optimise efficiencies and drive further growth across the business.”
