Knight Frank’s head of life sciences Emma Goodford has announced plans to retire from the partnership in March next year.
Goodford joined Knight Frank’s graduate training programme in 1987 and during a 37-year stint at the company she has worked across several departments, starting in the West End agency team before moving to the South East business space team.
She made salaried partner at the age of 26 and became a proprietary partner in 2006. From 2006, Goodford led the national offices team and between 2014–2017 created Knight Frank’s EMEA tenant rep offer.
Goodford said: “For over three decades, Knight Frank has been an exceptional place to build my career, enabling me to develop close relationships with clients to devise and deliver best in class buildings and places. The firm’s partnership culture sets it apart in the market and ensures that it continues to be a stimulating and diverse place to work, promoting teamwork across its global network. I am excited about the next chapter of my career and aim to bring the very diverse experience I’ve had in the workplace and mixed-use sectors I’ve advised in.”
