HBD has promoted Simon Raiye to head of region in its Birmingham office.
Raiye joined the business in 2015 as a development manager and was promoted to development director in 2020. HBD said Raiye has been an “integral part” of its Birmingham team, bringing extensive experience across industrial and logistics, urban regeneration, and residential sectors.
Raiye’s promotion follows the upcoming departure of director Justin Sheldon, who is taking on a new role elsewhere.
Vivienne Clements, executive director at HBD, which is part of Henry Boot, said: “Justin has played a key role in helping establish HBD’s presence in the Midlands, and we wish him all the best in his new role. We have no doubt Simon will excel in his new position as head of region. He is a key player in the Midlands market and has been instrumental in bringing forward a number of major projects such as SPARK in Walsall, Setl in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, and our exciting new residential scheme, Neighbourhood.
“We look forward to Simon continuing to build HBD’s presence in the Midlands, expanding our development and investment pipeline, and building further on his successes to date.”
